Freehold Borough to Hold Town-wide Cleanup

All residents are asked to get rid of junk and make the borough sparkle for the annual Memorial Day Parade

To encourage residents to make the town sparkle for visitors to the annual ,  Freehold Borough Mayor Nolan Higgins has announced a new initiative -- the Town-wide Cleanup, on Saturday, May 19th, from 8:00 am through 2:00 pm.

In partnership with DeLisa Demolition and Disposal, residents may use this opportunity to dispose of any debris and clutter in the home and on their properties, including furniture and old mattresses.  

There will be large dumpsters at three easily accessible locations:  the public works center on Center Street; the Park Avenue Elementary School on Park Avenue; and the Freehold Learning Center elementary school on Dutch Lane Road.

The bins will be available from 8:00 am through 2:00 pm and are not for recyclable items. Borough employees will be on site at the bin locations to answer any questions and to assist in disposal of trash.

In addition, there will be a free paper-shredding service available behind Borough Hall between 2:00 and 4:00 pm.

Seniors who need assistance to remove bulky items may call (732) 462-4200.
