Freehold Teams Compete in Tournaments

Weather

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will be mostly sunny and breezy, with a high near 44. Overnight it will be partly cloudy, with a low around 23 with west winds between 13 and 16 mph, and gusts as high as 28 mph.

High School Sports

The boys wrestling team will be participating in the Walter Woods Holiday Tournament away against Middletown South High School. The match will begin at 9:00 a.m.

The boys and girls basketball teams will be playing in holiday tournaments today.

The boys will be playing at 2:00 p.m. at Matawan High School in the Huskies Christmas Tournament. Their opponent has not yet been announced. 

The girls will be playing in the Lady Ghosts Pink Christmas Tournament at 5:30 p.m. today. The girls will be taking on the University Academy Charter at East Side High School.   

Recycling

Recycling will be collected in District 1 today. Please place all your commingled glass, tin, plastic & aluminum items, as well as your paper & cardboard, at the curb for collection.
