Freehold Teams Continue to Compete

Weather

Friday will be partly sunny, with a high near 51 and a south wind around 8 mph. Overnight there will be a slight chance of showers, mostly cloudy, with a low around 39, according to the National Weather Service. 

High School Sports

The Boys Basketball team will be playing in the Holiday Classic Tournament today at Red Bank Regional. The time of the game is still to be announced, but the boys will be facing off against Red Bank Regional. 

Both the girls and boys Basketball teams will be in tournaments today.  The girls will be playing away at East Side High School in the Lady Ghosts Pink Christmas Tournament against East Side High School. The girls will take the court at 7:00 p.m.

The Boys will be playing in the Holiday Tournament Championship at Matawan High school against Manalapan at 4:00 p.m.

Support Groups

There will be a gamblers anonymous meeting tonight at the at 8:00 p.m.

Shopping

Friday is the last day of the year to shop with regular operating hours at the . The mall will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. Tomorrow and Sunday, the mall will have shortened hours for New Years. 

New In Theaters

This week, three new movies opened at in Freehold. If you don’t have any plans for your Friday night consider catching the Sci-Fi action thriller The Darkest Hour, Steven Spielberg’s War Horse or Matt Damon’s newest drama, We Bought a Zoo during any of their playing times.
