The Freehold Township Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is denying rumors of problems with the municipality's water supply.
Freehold Township OEM issued the following alert:
There is currently a social media rumor spreading that there are problems with the Freehold Township water system. Be Advised: Those reports are false and did not originate with the township.
Freehold Township's water system is stable, safe and functioning properly. There are no water advisories in Freehold Township.
Please disregard all social media reports to the contrary.
Also, all Freehold Township offices will be open for business on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012
