First, as the star of the Disney Channel show Wizards of Waverly Place, second, as the girlfriend of Justin Bieber. Her likable blend of bouncy/non-threatening pop music is coming to the PNC Bank Arts Center on Saturday August 20th at 7 p.m. Lawn seats, priced at $15 are still available.

Freehold Rocks! Concert Series

Tired of the endless summer heat? Bored of beaches and malls? Head over to Downtown Freehold and spend a sublime summer evening at the Freehold Rocks! Concert Series. Year after year, this family favorite features widely known groups and local talent that attract audiences from the greater-Freehold area and beyond. Scouting Skills Day

The 4th Annual Fun Scouting Skills Day on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts are invited to explore Poricy Park and learn some scouting skills while having fun. Exciting activities include Tied Up in Knots, Compass Frisbee, Tracks of the Trade, Bandage A Buddy and more.

Registration closes at 120 scouts, so it’s recommended to reserve early. No registrations will be accepted the day of the event. Staggered start times are 1:30 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. and will be assigned in late August. All activities will conclude by 5 p.m. Paid registration prior to Aug. 1 is $8 per scout and includes a special patch, the delivery of which is guaranteed at the event.

37th Annual Monmouth County Fair

Always a family favorite event, the 37th Annual Monmouth County fair is a great time for everyone. It includes 4-H events, animal shows and exhibits, rides and amusements, free stage entertainment, Bwana Jim's reptile show, touch-a-truck, racing pigs and paddling porkers, DLW Timberworks lumberjack show, home and garden competitions. Admission is $7 and children 12 and under are free. Free parking is available. No pets are allowed.
