Get Out: Field Hockey Clinic, Jazz, Networking
Find out where the fun is at in Western Monmouth this weekend.
When and where: Saturday, Nov. 12 from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at in Freehold
Why you should go: Ever want to learn about field hockey? Would you like your child to learn a new sport? The field hockey clinic will teach children aged six years and up about the sport. The event is open to players of all levels. The Freehold High School field hockey team, which recently captured a section title and is looking for another state championship, will serve as instructors at the clinic.

Why you should go: Have you ever wondered what it was like to live in Colonial times? Experience 18th century-style, open hearth cooking at the Covenhoven House and take a tour of the historic home. Built in 1752, this well-preserved local landmark served as headquarters for British General Sir Henry Clinton before the Battle of Monmouth in 1778.

Why you should go: With the cold weather comes the ABC Networking Social Happy Hour at Bella Vista Country Club. Friday marks the start of the weekly event. Business people from North Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis Club, the Navesink Business Group and NJ Network for Success will be in attendance. The event features complimentary food and carries no admission fee.
