High School Sports Continue to Scrimmage

Weather

According to the National Weather Service, today will sunny, with a high near 51. Overnight clouds are expected to move in and temperatures will drop for a low around 35.

High School Sports

The boys tennis and track team will both be scrimmaging today. The boys tennis team will take on Red Bank Regional High School today at home. The boys will take the court at 3:45 p.m. The boys track team is on the road today. The team will travel to Rumson-Fair Haven High School and begin their meet at 3:45 p.m.

The girls lacrosse and softball teams will both scrimmage on the road today. The girls lacrosse team will travel to Red Bank to face off against Red Bank Regional High School at 4 p.m. The girls softball team will also begin their game against Toms River South High School at 4 p.m. today.

Meetings

The Freehold Township Committee will meet tonight at 8 p.m. The meeting will be held in Municipal Building Room 114, in the . A copy of tonight’s agenda can be seen here.

Kids Dancing and Acting Class

Children 2 years-old and older are invited to attend a free NYCPAC (New York City Performing Arts Centre, Inc.) class today at their 843 Route 33 Freehold location. Classes/Lectures

presents a Free Physician Lecture and Colorectal Cancer Screening for Women tonight at 6 p.m. The lecture will be given by Vasudha Dhar, M.D. and will talk about the detection and treatment of colorectal problems in women. There will be free colorectal cancer screenings available immediately following the lecture from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Space is limited and an appointment is required. The screening will consist of a rectal exam and occult blood check.
