High Wind Warning in Affect for Freehold Area

The National Weather Service has issued a high wind watch and a hazardous weather outlook for Monmouth County.

The National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting that the next few days in Freehold will be messy ones with a combination of high winds, snow and rain headed our way.

As of Tuesday afternoon, multiple warnings have been issued for Freehold, including a high wind watch and hazardous weather outlook.

The NWS is predicting that rain will begin in our area around 5 a.m. Wednesday morning and will continue through Thursday night or Friday morning. The forecast shows that depending on the temperature, our area will begin to see some precipitation after 5 a.m. on Wednesday. As Wednesday continues, the chance of precipitation continues with wind coming in at 26 mph with gusts of 36 mph. Wednesday night does not look like it will provide any relief, as the forecast calls for more rain and snow as well as wind coming in near 28 mph.  

At this time, Thursday and into Thursday night strong winds and perception is expected to continue.
