Holiday Mail for Heroes Collection at Park Avenue Elementary

Holiday Mail for Heroes

The PTO is sponsoring a Holiday Mail for Heroes program. A large collection box will be located inside the Park Avenue Elementary School entrance where students can send a card to a military service member.

Care packages containing any of the following items will also be accepted: black or white socks, hand sanitizer, sunblock, medical supplies, mouthwash, foot powder, body powder, hot cocoa powder, powdered drink mix singles, peanut butter, cereal bars, granola bars, energy bars, protein bars, dried fruit, Slim Jims, beef jerky, sunflower seeds, or Cup O' Noodles.

HIB Self-Guided Information Event

The Freehold Township High School Contemporary Global Issues seniors will present a self-guided, interactive tour about bullying and the state’s Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying Initiatives on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. during parent-teacher conferences at the school.

The Joseph J. Catena Elementary School PTO will meet at the school on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Order Holiday House Tour Tickets

The Freehold Borough Holiday House Tour will take place Saturday, Dec. 10 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $5 for tickets.
