How to Post an Announcement on Freehold Patch

Freehold Patch welcomes all of your press releases that are relevant to people living in Freehold. As the editor, I want to let you in on a little secret: You don't have to ask me to post them.

You can do it yourself, right now.

Patch sites are designed in a way that is easy for users to post their own announcement. It's all good. We want you to tell everyone about the PTO Box Tops 4 Education drive, the Rich Hartman Memorial Soccer Game, the ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new business in town, your daughter's engagement, or your son making his college's dean's list. Including a photo really makes a difference if you want to attract attention.

The announcement will go out with the newletter delivered early every morning. And if you uploaded a great photo, I will likely feature it on the front page.

If you want to just skip the video and get started right now, go to the News Tab, choose Announcements, and look for that green button labeled "Annouce it to Everyone." Start filling in the form. Your announcement will be posted as soon as you hit "submit."
