It's a Wonderful Life at Center Playhouse

Weather

Thursday will be cloudy with a chance of afternoon showers, according to the National Weather Service forecast. The high for the day will be near 61 degrees and the overnight low will be around 43.

The ’ debut performance of “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. General admission tickets cost $25 and seniors and students are $23.

Additional performances will be held Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Christmas Carol Festival

will hold an afternoon of Christmas carols on Thursday at 7 p.m. All are invited to participate in the singing. No admission fee is required, but guest are invited to bring holiday cookies to share.

Donations of non-perishable goods for Freehold Area Open Door food pantry will be accepted.

The Freehold Borough Shade Tree Commission will meet at Borough Hall on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

High School Sports

Patriots boys and girls swimming will face off against the Colonials at the YMCA of Western Monmouth County in Freehold Township at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
