Manalapan Store Sells $1M Lotto Ticket

A Manalapan Township convenience store has reportedly sold a winning $1,000,000 ticket from Saturday's Powerball drawing; the winner has not yet come forward.

Somebody who bought a New Jersey lottery ticket at Soda King in Manalapan is $1 million dollars richer today.

A winning NJ lottery ticket from Saturday’s Powerball was sold at the Gordons Corner Road convenience store and the winner has not yet come forward to claim the prize, New Jersey State Lottery Public Relations Manager Judy Drucker said.

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on Saturday, March 16 were:

  • 3, 7, 21, 44, 53,  and the red Powerball number is 16

The winning ticket purchased in Manalapan matched all of the five white ball numbers, but did not have the Powerball number of 16. The winning ticket also did not add on a Powerplay, an added bonus for $1 more. If the ticket added on a Powerplay it would have been worth $2 million.

“You know people don’t want to spend the extra buck, but it would have doubled that prize,” Drucker explained.

If you realize you are the lucky winner, please contact the New Jersey State Lottery at 609-599-5800 to claim your prize!

Currently the Powerball jackpot is $260 million dollars and the next drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, March 20.
