Monmouth County Greentable

Monmouth County Greentable will meet Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Freehold Township's Town Hall.

The meeting will provide officials and residents with an overview of Millstone Township’s successful land stewardship program that is based on uniformity and consistency.

Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss ways that municipal easements can be created, expanded and improved. The speakers will talk about strategies, programs and local efforts already under way.

The Monmouth County Greentable is a periodic meeting of individuals, groups and government representatives who work together to preserve open space and farmland. The group presents information about past, present and future local preservation projects as a way to share experiences, expectations and ideas.

The Freehold Public Library will hold its program at 10 a.m. This week’s craft will be people pins.
