Monmouth County Surplus Auction

Monmouth County Auction

The Monmouth County online surplus auction will end Wednesday at 6 p.m. All bidders must register with the auctioneer, Auction Liquidation Services, at govauctionlistservices.com. The items were assembled from the county’s Fleet Services, Bridge Department, Buildings & Grounds, Reclamation Center, Park System and seized and surplus property from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. Available items include cars, lawn mowers, copiers and potter’s wheels.

Successful bidders will be able to pick up their item or items at 250 Center St., Freehold, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Oct. 20 and 21.

The Freehold Phrasers Toastmasters Club will meet in the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce offices in the Pinho Professional Center, 57 Schanck Road, on Wednesday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The local chapter of Toastmasters International helps its members develop their public speaking and communication skills.

The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore are hosting Inspired 2 Read, a series of free read-aloud and craft sessions for children four to six years old at the . The session takes place Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. Parents or guardians interested in attending with their children can sign up at the library or e-mail Inspired2Read@aol.com.
