Mural Project Completed in Downtown Freehold

Weather

Mural Park Completed

The final coat of paint has dried on the Freehold Borough Arts Council’s Mural Park project. Additional work will be completed on the Spring Street section of the former gas station at 63 E. Main St., but artist’s Matt Halm’s mural integrating Freehold’s cultural and historical heritage was completed last week, according to the Freehold Borough Arts Council's Facebook page.

Meetings

The Freehold Township Fire Prevention Board will meet at Town Hall Monday at 7 p.m.

The Freehold Borough Council will meet at Borough Hall at 7:30 p.m.

High School Sports

Colonials ice hockey takes on Southern Regional away at 7:30 p.m.

Patriots boys and girls bowling faces Colts Neck at Howell Lanes at 3:30 p.m. Boys basketball hosts Ocean Township at 4 p.m., while girls soccer plays them away at that time.

Support Groups

The National Alliance on Mental Illness-Greater Monmouth will hold a support group meeting for caregivers, family members and friends of the mentally ill at on Monday at 7 p.m.

The Breast Cancer Support Group will meet at CentraState Medical Center at 7:30 p.m.
