NJ Transit to Cross Honor Due to Impending Storm

NJ Transit is getting ready for potential storms today.

Due to strong storms expected to impact the region, including a tornado watch and wind advisory, NJ Transit is implementing full, system-wide cross honoring between 3 p.m. and midnight on NJ Transit bus, rail and light rail services.

In addition, NJ Transit announced that it is positioning maintenance crews to respond to potential service disruptions, and will be deploying additional customer service representatives to assist customers during this time as needed.

High winds, severe thunderstorms and the potential for flooding are expected from the approaching weather system.  NJ Transit is encouraging customers to plan their travels accordingly for this evening, and consider adjusting their travel schedules to travel outside of this time period.
