It may be a dreary day today and into tonight across the area, but that should break by tomorrow making for a nice fall week across the area.
The National Weather Service is predicting rain for most of today with a high of 73 and a low of 49 by tonight. When the clouds part on Tuesday the temperature will likely drop to a high of 61 during the day and dropping into the 40's at night.
More sun is in the forecast for Wednesday with a high of 66 on the horizon and a low of 46 in the evening. Warmer weather is expected to return on Thursday for a mostly sunny day before a chance of rain returning with a low of 56 leading to the start of several days of wet weather.
There is at least a 50 percent chance of rain on Friday into Saturday with rain possible throughout the weekend. The forecast might change but as of Sunday the weather service is predicting highs in the 60's and lows in the 40's straight through.
