Terry Sylvester to Perform at Legends of Rock Concert

Weather

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service. The high for the day will be 76 degrees and the overnight low will be 65.

Terry Sylvester, formerly of The Hollies, will perform at the Legends of Rock concert series in front of the Hall of Records building on Wednesday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the in the Majestic Concert Hall. Seating is limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Meetings

The Lake Topanemus Commission will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m.

High School Sports

Freehold Township girls tennis plays Middletown South away on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. Field hockey heads to Howell at 4 p.m. Girls soccer hosts Middletown South while boy soccer plays them away at 4 p.m.

Freehold Boro girls tennis takes on Neptune away at 3:45 p.m. Field hockey heads to Red Bank Catholic for a 3:45 p.m. game. Girls gymnastics hosts a quad meet against Neptune, Brick Memorial and Point Pleasant Borough at 4 p.m.

Flu Vaccines

will offer flu vaccines at the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The cost of the vaccine is $25 and only cash or checks will be accepted.

Additional vaccination clinics will be scheduled for Sept. 25 from noon to 3:30 p.m.; Sept. 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.; and Sept. 29 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
