Government Meetings

The Freehold Borough Council will meet on Monday, Dec. 17. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in Borough Hall.

The Freehold Township Committee will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 18. The meeting will begin at 8 p.m. and will be held in the Freehold Township Offices. To see what will be discussed at the Committee’s meeting, click here.

The Freehold Township Planning Board meeting is cancelled for Thursday. Dec. 20.

School Events

The Freehold Borough School Winter Concert will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at the Park Avenue Elementary School. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. in the Park Avenue gymnasium.

The Freehold Township Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 18. The meeting will being at 8 p.m. and will be held in the Freehold Township Board of Education Office.

Freehold Borough schools, Freehold Township schools and students in the Freehold Regional High School District will have an early dismissal on Friday, Dec. 21 for the beginning of winter recess.

Holiday Activity

The Freehold Public Library is welcoming families to come in on Monday, Dec. 17 to make a puzzle piece holiday wreath. This is a free event and will begin at 3:30 p.m., all are welcome to attend. For more information visit, freeho­ldpublicli­brary.­org/­

Hurricane Sandy Fundraiser

Dine at TGI Friday's on Thursday, Dec. 20 and they will donate a portion of their sales to help restore the shore. The Rt. 9 location in Freehold will give back to those in need when diners mention that they want to help support the Shore Families with the American Children's Society on Thursday.
