Two of Freehold Borough's Finest Swear In to New Roles

School News

  • Freehold Borough students will return to the classroom from Spring Recess on Tuesday, April 2. 
  • Students in the Freehold Regional High School District and Freehold Township students are back in the classroom on Monday, April 1.

Local Government Meetings

  • The Freehold Borough Council will meet on Monday, April 1. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in the Borough Hall meeting room. At this meeting, two Freehold Borough Police Officers will be sworn into new roles and the Council will honor Elizabeth O’Connell on her retirement from the Freehold Borough School District.
  • The Freehold Township Shade Tree Commission and the Planning Board will meet this week. The Shade Tree Commission will meet on Wednesday, April 3 and the Planning Board will meet on Thursday, April 4. Both meetings will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in the Freehold Township Municipal building. 

Daddy Daughter Date Night

Area dads and their daughters are invited to a red carpet event at Encore Event Center this Friday, April 5. The Freehold Township Recreation department is currently selling tickets to the “Golden Globe Award Theme” Daddy Daughter Date Night. Registration must be made in advance at the Freehold Township Recreation Office located in Michael J. Tighe Park.  You may also register online at www.freeholdtownshiprec.com.
