Visiting Hours for Feliciano ‘Uchy’ Colon at Higgins Memorial Home

The National Weather Service forecast calls for a chance of rain and thunderstorms Monday afternoon. The high for the day will be 93 degrees and the overnight low will be 70.
Feliciano ‘Uchy’ Colon, 36, of Freehold, died Wednesday in a car accident on Route 522 in Freehold Township. Colon lived in Freehold since 1988 and graduated Freehold High School in 1993.
He is survived by two sons, James Nicholas Colon and Anton Colon; his father, Feliciano Colon, Puerto Rico; his mother, Angela DeJesus, Freehold; three brothers, Angel F. Colon, Jackson Township, Jose H. Colon and his wife, Lucia Moscoso, Lakewood and Anderson Colon, Jackson Township; a sister, Beatriz Colon and her husband Jose Gelpi, Jackson Township; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be held at Monday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m., followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
Support Groups- Greater Monmouth Family Members & Caregivers Support Group will meet at CentraState Medical Center on Monday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The group offers support, education and advocacy.

The meets at CentraState from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The group offers information and education for women that currently have or have had breast cancer.
MeetingsThe Monmouth County Human Relations Commission will meet at the Agriculture Building, 4000 Kozloski Road, on Monday at 3 p.m.
The Freehold Township Fire Prevention Board meets at Town Hall at 7 p.m.
The Freehold Borough Council will meet at Borough Hall at 7:30 p.m.
The Freehold Township Senior Center will hold art class at 9:45 a.m. Monday.
Yoga will take place at the center at noon.
