Warmer Temperatures Expected Today

A list of five things you should know for Wednesday, March 28.

Weather

According to the National Weather Service, today there will be scattered showers, with a possible thunderstorm in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 62 today. Overnight, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the early evening followed by a mostly cloudy night. The night will be cooler with temperatures dropping for a low around 46.

High School Sports

The baseball and softball teams are scrimmaging today. The boys varsity, jv and freshman teams will travel to Brick Township High School and take the field at 3:45 p.m. The girls softball team will take on Brick Township High School at home. The girls varsity and jv games will begin at 3:45 p.m.

The boys varsity tennis team, and the varsity, jv, and freshman, baseball teams will scrimmage today. The tennis team will match up against Monroe Township High School at home today at 3:45 p.m. The varisty and jv baseball teams will take on St. John Vianney High School at home today. The freshman team will also take on St. John Vianney but they will travel to Holmdel for their game. All games will start at 4 p.m. today.

Weekly Food Collection

The has partnered up with the Freehold Open Door Food Pantry and is collecting non-perishable food items. Donations can be dropped off each week to help those in need. TLE Curriculum Night/Open House
