Freehold Area Racing's 25th Annual St. Paddy's Road Races & Expo

The Freehold Area Running Club

announces their 25th Annual St. Paddy’s Race Series and Expo.  The St. Paddy’s Race Series is a fun
community event for all health, fitness and road racing enthusiasts.

New for 2014, the Freehold Area Running Club introduces the inaugural Shamrock 10K  (6.2 miles) road race in addition to the 20th Annual running of the Leprechaun 5K (3.1 miles) on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Michael J. Tighe Park on Georgia Road in Freehold Township.  The Shamrock 10K starts at 9:30 am and the Leprechaun 5K begins at 9:45 am.

The

races offer all competitors two scenic and competitive courses: the 10K for

those looking to build toward the Boston Marathon, or other spring long

distance events; the 5K for a speed or shorter fitness workout.  Accurate “chip timing” provided to all racing

participants by Elite Racing Systems.
