Arts and Crafts Vendor Show and Guided Historic Church Tours

December 7, 2013, save that date! The Freehold Borough Arts Council is holding its first Fine Arts and Crafts vendor event from noon until 5pm. We will be doing this at the First Presbyterian Church located at 118 West Main Street in the Education Building. Just in time for the holiday season, it will be perfect for people looking to shop outside of the big box and chain retail stores. Vendors will be selling handcrafted items that they created, giving visitors to the event an opportunity to find unique items. Entrance to the event is free. There will be live music throughout the day and light refreshments.

From the same location, the Freehold Borough Historic Preservation Commission will be holding its annual bus tour. This year the tour will focus on local Freehold churches as they were in 1863. Freehold Borough has beautiful churches with a very rich history. Tickets for this event are $25 and it is recommended that participants buy tickets in advance. Call 908-461-1769 for information and tickets. Buses will leave every two hours.
