Christmas in New York at Carnegie Hall Concert - Kick-off Score Reading

The Chancel Choir at First Presbyterian Church of Freehold has been invited to participate in this year's Christmas in New York at Carnegie Hall with Charles Billingsley, Marcia Ware and the American Festival Choir.  The choir will consist of choirs from across the U.S. numbering about 350 people. They will present the world premiere choral work entitled "The Song of Christmas" by Phil Barfoot and Rebecca J. Peck. This will be a benefit concert for a few local ministries.  The date of the concert is Monday, November 25 at 8pm.  Rehearsals will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Freehold on Fridays from 7pm till 9pm.  Our kick-off score reading session will be Friday September 6 at 7pm.  John Cavicchio is the director of music at First Presbyterian Church and will be conducting one of the numbers at the Carnegie Hall concert.  The church is inviting anyone interested in singing.  You may contact John at  732-333-0699.
