On Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 4 pm join us for a joyous afternoon of woodwind quintet music all written by Jewish composers, and presented by The Monmouth Winds. You’ll have a delightful opportunity to hear a colorful sample of these many composers and their styles through works spanning the 19th through the 21st centuries by Jacques Offenbach, Paul Dukas, Gustav Mahler, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Morton Gould, Darius Milhaud, Leonard Bernstein, and most recently, Gary Schocker.

The Monmouth Winds have performed with the Monmouth Symphony Orchestra and at weddings, galleries, churches, arts festivals, senior centers and schools for audiences of all ages. The quintet takes great joy in presenting eclectic music from the classical, pop, jazz, and world music.

Tickets are $15 for members and $18 for non-members. For further information and tickets call the Museum at 732-252-6990 or visit www.jhmomc.org. The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County is located in the Mounts Corner Shopping Center at 310 Mounts Corner Drive, Freehold Township. It is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization and is handicapped accessible.
