Basketball tournament for boys and girls grades 4 thru 9

2013 Sunrise Optimist Club Hot Shot Basket Ball Tournament to be held on Sunday, February 10, 2013


 The Sunrise Optimist Club of Freehold will host the 2013 Kylie Pinheiro Memorial Hot Shot Basketball Tournament for boys and girls grades 4 through 9.  This event will be held on Sunday February 10th at the YMCA of Western Monmouth County, 470 East Freehold Rd. Freehold N.J.


Proceeds from Tournament sponsors will be donated to MADD Mothers against Drunk Drivers-NJ.

 T-Shirt sponsors are needed. Please consider making a $ 100 donation to this event in exchange for your company or family name being included on the back of this year’s T-shirt. Donations are payable to Sunrise Optimist Foundation of Freehold P.O. Box 351 Adelphia, NJ 07710 and are tax deductable.


 The $5.00 per entrant fee made payable to: Sunrise Optimist Foundation of Freehold includes a Hot Shot T-Shirt for all participants and trophies to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

The Sunrise Optimist club is a community service organization dedicated to "Bringing out the Best in Kids"and has been A "Friend of Youth" in the Freehold community since 1986. Optimist clubs are members of a world wide civic organization dedicated to serving the youth of their communities.  The membership represents a cross-section of the business, public, social, and cultural life of the Freehold area. The club is open to all adults of good character and community standing.  If interested in becoming a member, come join them as a guest at their weekly meetings held every Friday at 7:00 AM at Perkins Pancake House, 3445 Route 9, Freehold, NJ 07728.
