FBFD Invite Residents to Open House

The Freehold Borough Fire Department is opening its doors to residents again with the second annual Fire Department Open House.

From 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21 attendees will be able to learn about the department's history, watch a fire prevention puppet show, see a truck on display and see first hand what supplies have been bought with tax dollars. Event attendees will also enjoy hot dogs and cotton candy.

The fire department will also be giving away free fire detectors to residents who need them.
