Freehold Council 1672 Centennial Dinner & Dance

On February 23, 2013 the Freehold Council, Knights of Columbus will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the founding of their Council with a 4PM Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold and a Gala Reception at the South Gate Manor, also in Freehold. (Cocktail hour at 6PM and dinner at 7PM)


The Council was founded on Feb 23, 1913 by a group of 40 men dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.


During the past hundred years the men of the Council have practiced these principles by supporting the Community during times of both feast and famine. They conduct fund raising events in support of local charities and individuals in need, they have provided manpower to assist in disasters that have befallen the Community and have fostered a sense of friendship among their members and the Community at large.

Attendance at the the dinner requires an advanced reservation.  The cost is $100 per person and is open to the Knights, their families and friends as well as the entire community.  


To commemorate the anniversary, the Council is putting together a journal for the Gala.  Anyone wishing to congratulate or otherwise support the Knights by purchasing an ad in the journal will find information on the council's website.   http://www.kofc1672.org
