Laughter is the Best Way to Weather the Storm ...
Center Players' extends their highly praised production of “The Cemetery Club.”

Freehold was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy and left the spotlights off in Freehold's resident theater company BUT Center Players is happy to extend their highly praised production of The Cemetery Club just for two more performances! The lights are bright and nothing is better than comedy to weather the storm. Don't miss the final performances this Friday, November 30th & Saturday, December 1st at 8:00 PM.

Three Jewish widows meet once a month for tea before going to visit their husband's graves. Ida is sweet tempered and ready to begin a new life, Lucille is a feisty embodiment of the girl who just wants to have fun, and Doris is priggish and judgmental. While their personalities suggest differently, their bonds are strong after years of triple dating on cruises, leaning on one another for support when times grew dark, and now, visiting their husbands at the cemetery. But what happens when Sam, an attractive kind butcher enters the scene and meets the ladies while visiting his wife at the cemetery?
