Freehold Township Education Foundation to host Casino Night Gala Fundraiser

The Freehold Township Education Foundation (FTEF) will be hosting its second Annual Fundraising Gala, a “Monte Carlo” Casino Night, on Friday November 16th at the Freehold Radisson Hotel’s Crystal Ballroom.

At the event, FTEF will be making an exciting announcement about the launch of a two-year $250,000 fundraising campaign. The goal of the campaign will be to ensure that each classroom in every pre-K through 8th school in the Freehold Township School District is equipped with a 21st century technology platform which will transform the learning experience and classroom environment for all students.

Speaking ahead of the event, FTEF Chair Gail Reilly MD said: “We are incredibly excited about embarking on this ambitious plan to create ‘interactive classrooms’ in every schoolroom throughout our school district. Our annual gala event is the perfect stage to formally launch this campaign, and we are looking forward to a highly enjoyable evening”.

The casino will consist of a host of popular games, including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps and Poker. Novices will be able to get some training before playing with mock money to win raffle tickets for gift basket prizes. Tickets for the event will include gift auction raffle tickets, $100 of mock casino money for winning extra auction tickets, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and a four hour premium bar. Tickets can be purchased at the Foundation website www.ftefnj.org. A limited 50/50 raffle drawing with a first prize of up to $7,000 will also take place. At the time of going to press, 50/50 tickets were still available at $20 each.
