Summer Safety for Seniors – July 14

Summer Safety for Seniors
Mondays, July 7 & 14 at 2 p.m.
Summertime is finally here! Everyone should enjoy the sunshine and great weather, but also keep safety in mind. Seniors can stay safe this summer by learning the necessary precautions to take during Summer Safety for Seniors. This free program is presented by the Health Coaches from the Center for Healthy Aging at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus and will discuss the precautions that seniors need to take in the summer. Topics include heat illnesses, summer safety, medication precautions and travel safety tips. The July 7 program will be held at the Ocean County Library, Jackson Branch located at 2 Jackson Drive. The July 14 program will be held at the Ocean County Library, Manchester Branch, located at 21 Colonial Drive in Manchester. This program is free but registration is required by calling 732-928-4400 for the July 7 program or 732-657-7600 for the July 14 program.
