You Can Help the Arts With Care2Share from Investors Bank

The Freehold Borough Arts Council (FBAC) is pleased to announce that they have joined the Care2Share Affinity Program, a free service offered by Investors Bank.  As an enrolled member of Care2Share, FBAC receives quarterly donations generated through the program.

The donations are calculated based on the average balance members and supporters maintain in their Investors personal checking and savings accounts.  To be included in the program, customers simply link their eligible Investors accounts to FBAC.

“Our organization is dedicated to Providing, Championing and Inspiring local arts,” stated FBAC President Jeff Friedman.  “Fundraising is essential to sustaining our work, and in these times, we need to seek alternative ways to fund our efforts.  The great thing about Care2Share is that it costs us nothing to join, and it costs our members and supporters nothing to link their personal bank accounts to us. “

Investors Bank offers Care2Share to its customers that are 501(c)(3) non-profits.  Donations are calculated at a rate of .25% on the average quarterly balance of all personal checking accounts linked to the non-profit.  Personal savings accounts that are linked to the non-profit earn .15% on the average balances.  Donation amounts are annualized and then issued to the non-profit in quarterly increments.

Individuals interested in supporting the FBAC through Care2Share should contact Jeff Friedman at info@freeholdborougharts.org .  Information about the program may also be obtained at any Investors Bank branch, by visiting myinvestorsbank.com/care2share or by contacting the Investors’ Client Care Center at 855-iBank4U (422.6548).

The above press release is an exciting piece of news and a step forward for the FBAC. Investors Bank has been a sponsor and supporter of local arts. Recently the FBAC switched its account to Investors Bank. During our last board of trustees meeting, a few FBAC members mentioned and made note of how committed Investors Bank has been to the local Freehold Community. When we work together, we all succeed. If you are an Investors customer or looking for a new bank, please consider this program to help out the FBAC.

In other fundraising news for the FBAC, we are thinking ahead to summer and planning the second year of the Sunday Night Jazz and Blues Series. This series was a surprise hit last year and we are expanding it to eight weeks long this year, starting on July 13th. We have the eight artists/bands line up and we are looking for sponsors for the series. This is an inexpensive sponsorship. Businesses, individuals or organizations who are interested in sponsoring part of the series should email us at info@freeholdborougharts.org for more details. Four sponsors have already been found, so be quick if you are interested!

It is hard to believe that another FBAC St. Patrick's Day Parade has come and gone already. We are already thinking ahead for the parade in 2015. We thank everyone who came out to support and enjoy the parade. Every year the parade grows and we are planning to make the day bigger and better to reflect that. Again, this is another event that requires sponsors. It is never too early!

Your dues, sponsorships and donations help us to continue our mission to Provide, Champion and Inspire the local arts. We have many more wonderful programs in the works for this year and we welcome participation from all of the Freehold and arts community.

The FBAC will have its monthly meeting on April 3, 2014 at 7:30pm. We will meet at 10 East Main Street in the conference room. This is an open meeting and we welcome all people from our community who are interested in the arts.
