Docking in Spring

The 2013-2014 year has come to an end, and I could certainly say it ended with a bang! Between spring Career Development Events, the 85th New Jersey FFA State Convention, and the 4th Annual Freehold FFA Banquet, we were able to bring the year to a great close.

Congratulations to Emily Karr for being named New Jersey FFA's member of the month for May of 2014! Emily is a truly exceptional FFA member and Freehold is lucky to have her. We are so proud of you!

Congratulations to Alexandria Wilson who, through the Global Youth Institute, will be starting an internship in Costa Rica this summer to learn about the agriculture systems there! It is a rare opportunity that is well deserved for a dedicated student like Alexandria. Good luck this summer!

From our officer training in August, to the Greenhand Conference in February, and docking at the banquet in June, we have certainly learned to Navigate the Blue and Gold and sail through an amazing year. I am honored to have served as the Freehold FFA Reporter this year, and even more honored to be passing the blog down to our new reporter Allie Haggar.

Signing off for the final time:
