I try to recycle almost everything. When I have accumulated plastic bags from supermarket shopping, plastic bread bags, plastic wrappings from bananas, bread, bottled water etc. I take them to a bin to collect plastic bags at a supermarket. Usually Stop & Shop or Shop Rite have a bin before you enter the store. If the bin is already filled, I leave my bags next to the bin. I place all of my bags into a larger plastic bag when I take them there. I crush egg shells by hand into very small pieces and put them on the ground near my bird feeders. The birds then eat the shells which aids their digestion. I also have a compost bin where I put leaves, grass clippings, banana peels etc. I always recycle bottles, cans and newspapers into the recycling bin for the township to collect.
