Day of Ethics and Understanding at Library Headquarters

Join us at Library Headquarters in Manalapan on Sunday, December 15 beginning at 1 p.m. for a thought-provoking afternoon.

Three-time Emmy Award-winning writer, Randy Cohen, will lead off our afternoon on ethics. Cohen is the author of Be Good: How to Navigate the Ethics of Everything, and also wrote the popular New York Times Magazine column, “The Ethicist” from 1999 to 2011.

Cohen is the popular host of a series at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan. He won his Emmy Awards as a writer for The Late Show with David Letterman where he was the "inventor" of Letterman's Top Ten List. Cohen is currently hosting “Person, Place, Thing” on public radio.

He will discuss “Being The Ethicist” and will be available to sign books for event goers at the Library program.

A panel discussion offered by the Monmouth Center for World Religions and Ethical Thought (MCWRET) will follow Cohen’s remarks. Three panelists from different religious traditions will discuss how their traditions guide their ethical behavior and understanding.
