Tonight on through early tomorrow morning,  periods of snow showers and light snow can be expected.  Snowfall accumulations will generally range from a trace to two inches throughout the region with the exception of a few locations.  Southern New Jersey can expect snowfall accumulations of one to three inches with isolated higher amounts.  Eastern Long Island and eastern Connecticut will average around two inches with local amounts up to five inches possible.  Winds will back from the northeast to northwest at 15 to 30 mph over the interior and 20 to 40 mph along the coast with higher wind gusts over 50 mph.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20's for lows and upper 30's to lower 40's for highs on Wednesday.
