30-Year Freehold Township Resident Dies at 73

Peter J. Ciorciari, 73, of Freehold Township passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Peter was born in the Greenpoint Section of Brooklyn and had lived in Maspeth, Queens moving to Freehold Township 30 years ago. He was the head timekeeper at APM Terminals, Port Elizabeth. Peter was a member of International Longshoremen's Association, Local #1, Newark and a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Ciorciari of Freehold Township; two daughters, Jodi Marinich and her husband, Mark of Freehold Township and Tina Ciorciari of Freehold Township; one son, Daniel Ciorciari and his wife, Joy of Manalapan; five grandchildren, Bella Marinich, Rocco Marinich, Dylan Ciorciari, Ryder Ciorciari and Faith Ciorciari; and a sister, Marie Vittiburga of Greenpoint Section , Brooklyn.

Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home at 9 a.m. on Friday for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township for his 10 a.m. Funeral Mass. Entombment to follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.
