Bruce Egenolf entered eternal life on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at home with his wife  at his side.  He was born and raised in Laurelton, Queens and lived in Lynnbrook and Elmont, NY before moving to Freehold  in 1975.  Bruce worked as an electrician as a member of IBEW Local #3 for 39 years before retiring in 2002.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam.

Bruce loved his family very much.  Handy with any tool, he was generous with his time and talents to both Grace and Hope Lutheran Churches, the local Habitat for Humanity chapter, and anyone who needed a little help or guidance.  Bruce was also a strong but humble leader, and quick with humorous wit and easy laughter.  He enjoyed RV camping with his family and in his later years, quiet time with his wife, playing cards and completing crossword puzzles.
