Executive Secretary at Burns & Roe Dies at 77

Services for Joyce G. Cohan-Barone will be held in Paramus on Wednesday.

Joyce G. Cohan-Barone, 77, of Freehold, died on Saturday, Feb. 16. 

Barone was born in Jersey City, and lived in West New York, Honesdale, PA, and Paramus, NJ, before settling in Freehold, twenty years ago. Before retiring, she spent her career as an executive secretary at Burns & Roe and more recently at Norand Corporation in Cranbury, NJ.

Barone was predeceased by her husband Fred Cohan and her daughter Cindy Barone Mansuy. She is survived by her son Ronald Barone and his wife Janice of Cresskill, NJ, and her son Scott Barone and his wife Jodi of Paramus, NJ. Loving grandmother of Lyndsay Mansuy and Vincent Mansuy of Bayville, NJ, Kyle Mansuy, Dylan Barone, and Tyler Barone of Paramus, and Ronnie Barone, Grant Barone, and Madison Barone of Cresskill, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 and 9 p.m. Interment will be private.
