Former Freehold Resident Louise Durr Dies at 89

Moved to Freehold in 1985.

Louise E. Durr, 89, formally of Silvermead, Freehold Township passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Laurelton Village Care Center, Brick. 

Louise was born in Queens, NY and had lived in Orange, NJ and Ridgewood, NY before moving to Freehold in 1985. She retired as a secretary at the Ridgewood Savings Bank, Ridgewood, NY.

Louise was predeceased by her husband, William J. Durr and her twin sister, Blanche Larsen. She is survived by a son, William S. Durr and his wife, Ibolya of Jackson; a daughter, Karen Ray of Barnegat; four grandchildren, Theodore, Candace, Jennifer and Victoria; and two great grandchildren, Brian and Chris.

Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM with her funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM.
