Former Freehold Resident Rose Ellies Dies at 73

Rose Ellis, 73, of Tinton Falls died January 9, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township.  She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and had resided in Freehold before moving to Tinton Falls 12 years ago.

She was an office manager for Dr. Lontai, Elizabeth.

Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Kopp, Coconut Creek, Florida and Sherri Kopp, Sayreville two sons, Gary Carleton and his wife Denise, Cumming, Georgia and Jeff Kopp and his wife Denise, Grosse Ile, Michigan; a brother, Jackie Ellis, Port Jefferson, N.Y.; a sister, Ellen Kaminer, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and nine grandchildren. Robert D. Cuellari, Michael Cuellari, Melissa Buttermark, Matthew Buttermark, Hali Carleton, Hannah Carleton, Adam Kopp, Jason Kopp and Lucas Kopp.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. followed by services at 11:00 a.m
