Founding Freehold Kruizer Victor Mironowicz Dies at 65

German native moved to Howell 40 years ago.

Victor Mironowicz, 65, of Howell passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Victor was born in Furth im Wald, Germany and lived in South River before moving to Howell 40 years ago. 

He was a truck driver for K & A Excavating in South Brunswick for 7 years and prior to that he worked for ToTo Brothers in East Brunswick.  Victor, an antique car enthusiast and an original member of the Freehold Kruisers. He enjoyed making wine and was an avid trout fisherman. Victor was a true farmer at heart.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mironowicz of Howell; a daughter, Kristen Mironowicz of Howell; a sister, Lidia Krug of Fort Plain, NY; and a brother, Michael Miron of Freehold Township.

Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 9:45 AM for the procession to St. Euphrosynia of Polotsk Greek Orthodox Church, 284 Whitehead Avenue, South River, NJ for his 11:00 AM funeral service. .
