Freehold Resident Carmalyn Salkowitz Dies at 64

Worked as Freehold Regional High School District Transportation Supervisor

Carmalyn A. Salkowitz, 64, of Freehold passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.   She was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong resident of the Freehold area.  Carmalyn was the Transportation Supervisor for the Freehold Regional High School District, Englishtown.  She was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.  

Carmalyn is survived by one son, Keith Salkowitz and his fiancée, Lisa Ricciardella of Farmingdale; one daughter, Kathryn Cunningham and her husband, Anthony of Roosevelt; one granddaughter, Caitlyn Cunningham; one brother, Thomas Cantalice and his wife, Dee of Millstone; and many cherished friends.  

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 9:00 AM for the procession to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass.  Interment to follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold Township.
