Lifelong Freehold Resident Philip S. Patterson Dies at 65

Former member of Freehold First Aid Squad and other local groups.

Philip S. Patterson, 65, of Freehold died October 10, 2013 at home. He was born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong resident of Freehold expect for six years in Lakewood.

He was employed by ShopRite Foodarama, Grand Union, and others.  He was a salesman for Deblingers and Ferolie.  He was also receiving foreman for Cerro Communications.

He was a former member of the Freehold First Aid and Emergency Squad, the Freehold Fur, Fin, and Feather Sportsman Club and a Past Exalted Ruler of Freehold Elks Lodge No. 1454.

He was predeceased by his mother, Genevieve Czernovski Patterson, in 1991 and by his father, Harry C. Patterson, Jr. in 1998.

Surviving are two first cousins, Larry Lukoic, Boise, Idaho and Stanley Lukoic, Elizabeth.

Friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Elks Lodge services will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m.  Freehold Fur, Fin, and Feather Sportsman Club services will be held at 7:30 p.m.
