Local Artist Norma Wurtzel Dies at 73

Former Manalapan resident moved to Freehold 14 years ago.

Norma “Nikki” Wurtzel, 73, of Freehold passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Norma was born in Manhattan and lived in Manalapan before moving to Freehold 14 years ago. She was a self employed Artist. Norma was a former president of the Freehold Arts Society. She was known to many as Bubba. 

Norma is survived by her husband, Howard Wurtzel of Freehold ; a daughter, Lauren Federici and her husband, David of Freehold Township; three sons, Todd Wurtzel of Englishtown, Michael Wurtzel of Englishtown and Jonathan Wurtzel and his wife, Alisa of Freehold Township; five grandchildren, Tyler, Shanna, Brianna, Matthew and Gabrielle; a sister, Marilyn; and many cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township from 10:30 to 11:00 AM with her funeral service at 11:00 AM.
