Lucille M. Crimmins, Former FRHSD Secretary, Dies at 88

The longtime Freehold resident worked at Freehold High School and Freehold Township High School.

Lucille M. Crimmins, 88, of Freehold Township passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Wedgewood Gardens. Lucille was born in Union City, and was raised and had lived in Jersey City before moving to Freehold Township in 1967. She was a secretary for the Freehold Regional High School District, starting out in the Attendance Office at Freehold Borough High School and then in the Guidance office at Freehold Township High School retiring in 1985.

Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Edward F. Crimmins in 1983; her brother, Louis Laugel and her sister, Matilda Laugel. She is survived by her son, Joseph Crimmins and his wife, Catherine of Mendham, two daughters, Janet Creech and her husband, Kenneth of Freehold Township and Margaret DeFoney and her husband, Joseph of Seaville; nine grandchildren and two great granddaughters. 

Relatives and friends may gather at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson onMonday, August 19, 2013 at 10:15 AM with her funeral mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers, for those who desire, contributions in memory of Lucille may be made to Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 200 Tuckahoe Road, Marmora, NJ 08223.
