Obituary: Bertha Jablonski, 97

Jablonski was a founding parishioner of St. Veronica's Catholic Church, Howell.

Bertha Jablonski, 97, of died at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 3. 

Jablonski was born in Sugar Notch, PA as the daughter of Frank and Regina Gadowski and had lived in the Bronx before settling to Freehold Township in 1949. She was a founding parishioner of St. Veronica’s Catholic Church, Howell.

Bertha was predeceased by her husband, Walter J. Jablonski, Sr.; a daughter, Irene Warhol; two grandchildren, Stanley Warhol and Theresa Warhol; two sisters, Helen Drzewucki and Anna Grezsik; and a brother, Joseph Gadowski.  She is survived by two sons, Joseph Jablonski and his wife, Susan of Freehold Twp. and Walter J. Jablonski, Jr. and his wife, Loretta of North Little Rock, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Janine Holland and her husband, Michael, Joseph Jablonski, Jr. and his wife, Candace, James Jablonski and his wife, Lauren, Jeffrey Jablonski and his wife, Leigh, Marie Oliver and her husband, Michael, and Eric Jablonski and his wife, Kym; thirteen great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Claire Gadowski of Morganville.

Visiting at the on Friday, April 6, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service at the funeral home on Saturday, April 7, 2012. Interment to follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold.
