Obituary: Bruce Edward Weimer, 49

Weimer was an active family man who enjoyed running and cycling.

Bruce Edward Weimer, 49, of Freehold died suddenly on Sunday, March 25, at home. He was a loving son, beloved brother, devoted husband, and dedicated father. He was always the life of a party, often playing a clown for friends' children's birthdays. Most of all, he was a doting father who never missed a school event or an opportunity to tell his daughters he loved them. He was a deeply cherished person with great friends, and he manifested a heart of gold to everyone who knew him. Weimer was born in Aliquippa PA and lived in Monmouth County most of his adult life. He graduated from Monmouth University in 1988 with an MS in Software Engineering. He started work at AT&T in software development and later served as a System & Software QA Lead at Fort Monmouth. Weimer recently was the Principal Owner of Anser LLC for business process analysis. He was environmentalist, an avid runner, cyclist, and a teacher and mentor at his church.

Weimer was predeceased by his mother, Louise Ann in 1996 and father, Harry Edward Jr. in 2011. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Vibha Desai-Weimer; his two daughters, Anisha and Serena; a sister, Terri Lynn; two brothers, Jeffrey J. and Ronald Alan; parents in-law, Dinker and Bharti Desai; a sister in-law, Jignasa Desai-McCleary; and numerous uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visiting will be at the on Wednesday, March 28, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. A Committal Service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Franklin Memorial Park Chapel, North Brunswick. A Memorial Service will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a College Scholarship Fund has been established for his daughters.
