Obituary: Colin Thomas Lancaster, 83

Colin Thomas Lancaster, 83, of Freehold, died of a stroke on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at Capital Heath System in Trenton. He was born in Springfield, MA on July 15, 1928 and moved to Wales, MA at an early age. He came to New Jersey in 1949 to attend Westminster Choir College in Princeton. 

He was self-employed for most of his career working in the construction industry. He married Mary Kennedy in 1986 and moved to Freehold.

He was a member of the .

Surviving are three sons, Wayne Lancaster, of Freehold; Kim Lancaster, of New Hope, PA; and Kevin Lancaster, of Clark, MD; a daughter, Sharon Roberts, of Athens, GA; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Graveside memorial services will be held next spring. in Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
